What a great run we had for the Terry Fox Foundation! Watch for photos. I'll post some over the weekend. Thanks to Micah's dad for taking photos after my camera battery ran out.
Have a wonderful weekend. Laugh and play together. Read a good book.
Miss Owen I would like to thank you for your daily efforts keeping parents and others informed to the daily activities of your classroom.
As a grandaprent, we sometimes forget how to communicate with the younger ones to keep the lines of communication open and your suggestions are most helpful.
Some of you want to comment, but find yourselves stuck at various stages in the process.
If you want to comment, click on the comment link at the end of a post. In the new window, click in the large white field and simply type in your message.
Below the message you typed, you will see a drop down menu called Comment as. If you do not have any of the accounts listed, you can post as Anonymous. (Of course you can always sign your message with the white field if you want to leave your name.)
Next, you will be shown a Captcha. That's graphic of a word, either real or made up, that a computer program uses to be sure a real human instead of a robot is making the comment. You simply have to type in the letters you see and hit the button that says Finish.
Did you know that I went to Gibsons Elementary School? I'm happy to be teaching in the school I went to.
I am also happy to be teaching in a school I can walk to.
I live with my mom, Mrs. Owen, who sometimes comes to help in our classroom.
