We said a final farewell to Duke this morning. We planted a heather plant on his grave. Someone else had made a cross, and we put it back. We also put back the flowers others had left on his grave. We miss him.
We are getting ready for Thanksgiving. We've made construction paper turkeys and we are working on special place mats for Thanksgiving dinner or simply as artwork to save and display.
Today we got to use lots of special games Miss Owen has to help us learn to read and to learn about numbers. We'll be able to use these games on other days, too.
Sorry to hear about Duke. May his soul rest in peace.
