Today we all did some reading and practiced for the Terry Fox run. Some of us got to show how well we can count. This afternoon, we got to work with plasticine. Plasticine takes lots of rolling to get soft enough for little fingers to work with it.
Some of you want to comment, but find yourselves stuck at various stages in the process.
If you want to comment, click on the comment link at the end of a post. In the new window, click in the large white field and simply type in your message.
Below the message you typed, you will see a drop down menu called Comment as. If you do not have any of the accounts listed, you can post as Anonymous. (Of course you can always sign your message with the white field if you want to leave your name.)
Next, you will be shown a Captcha. That's graphic of a word, either real or made up, that a computer program uses to be sure a real human instead of a robot is making the comment. You simply have to type in the letters you see and hit the button that says Finish.
Did you know that I went to Gibsons Elementary School? I'm happy to be teaching in the school I went to.
I am also happy to be teaching in a school I can walk to.
I live with my mom, Mrs. Owen, who sometimes comes to help in our classroom.
